In June, the Staff, Volunteers and Riders were delighted with a very impromptu visit from Mrs June McIntyre and her son Craig.
Mrs McIntyre is of course the matriarch of this wonderful organisation!
In 1964 June McIntyre and her late husband Peter, started Pony Riding for the Disabled Association at their property in Kenmore Hills. In 1973 after a lot of determination and hard work the McIntyre Centre at Pinjarra Hills was opened and here we still are thanks to the McIntyre’s dream! Mrs McIntyre still has a keen interest in the Centre and shared some wonderful stories with us during her visit. She is truly an inspiring lady!
