We thank you for deciding to donate to The Equestrian Foundation for Disabled Children and as your donation is being made online without our assistance and or involvement, we ask that you carefully complete your details and the amount of your donation.
A substantial amount of administrative time is involved to deal with and rectify any errors.
Errors in Amount Pledged - Policy
Should an error be made in the amount of any donation, the donor has 14 days in which to notify The Equestrian Foundation for Disabled Children of the error. All requests/notifications must be made in writing and directed by email to info@efdc.com.au by fax to 07 3202 8059 or by post to PO Box 8 Kenmore Qld 4069.
The request should have the details of the initial donation including the date, amount, name of the donor, the tax invoice number (if applicable) and the nature of the error.
The Equestrian Centre for Disabled Children will endeavour to work with you to correct any such error, and if necessary, make any refund or correction that is appropriate. We cannot immediately cancel or return donations once they have been approved and completed and will considered and determined each error on a case by case basis.
Any tax invoice issued for the incorrect amount immediately becomes void and invalid, and a new tax invoice will be issued for the amount of the corrected donation.
Change of Heart on Donation - Policy
Please note: refunds of the amount pledged to be donated will not automatically be made simply because you have changed your mind. It is for this reason that we ask that you make your choice to donate carefully. The Equestrian Centre for Disabled Children is under no obligation to give a refund if an error has been made on your part, but will endeavour to ensure that any genuine errors (such as to the amount donated) are rectified.
The Equestrian Centre for Disabled Children, which is a non profit organisation, reserves the right to deduct any bank or transaction charges for any refund processed onto the donor. Should an error be detected and a request for refund be made after 14 days have expired The Equestrian Centre for Disabled Children regrets that it may not be able to refund any monies.
Errors by Us - Policy
Of course, should an error be made by The Equestrian Centre for Disabled Children or its financial institution(s), full refunds will be made immediately upon notification of the error and all costs borne by The Equestrian Centre for Disabled Children.
